Supply Technician – Distribution Center

About the Position

We are looking for a Procurement Technician to join our team at our distribution center. Depending on the candidate’s level of experience (Junior, Intermediate, or Senior), the successful candidate will play an active role in managing the procurement and inventory of our pumps, water treatment systems, and plumbing accessories while contributing to the company’s operational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute purchasing activities based on sales forecasts and inventory levels.
  • Manage inventory, including minimum/maximum stock levels, inventory turnover, stockouts, and overstock.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and purchasing history.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including performance monitoring and follow-up.
  • Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and logistics-related issues.
  • Collaborate with the Sales, Customer Service, and Warehouse teams.
  • Participate in the selection and introduction of new products.
  • Ensure products comply with applicable standards and technical specifications.
  • Maintain accurate product and supplier information in the ERP system.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Requirements

  • Education in Procurement, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in procurement within a distribution center environment.
  • Knowledge of pumps, water treatment systems, and plumbing accessories is considered an asset.
  • Experience in B2B distribution and warehouse operations.
  • Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

Salary Range

  • $55,000 – $65,000 per year
